Day 1: Meet & Greet at Santiago airport

Touch down in Santiago! Your guide will be waiting to welcome you to Chile and take you directly to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Private Tour of Hidden Santiago

Today you will explore the highlights of Santiago on foot, accompanied by one of our excellent local guides. Visit the main areas, but also the markets, cafes and hidden corners that most tours bypass.

Day 3: Santiago to Pucon

This morning you are taken to the airport for your short flight to Temuco with LATAM airlines. In Temuco pick up your hire car and start a scenic drive south for 70 miles to the scenic town of Pucon.

Day 4: Huerquehue National Park & Hot Springs

Travel deep into the Andes with an expert private guide to explore the Huerquehue national park, 35km from Pucon. You will hike on pristine forest trails to hidden lakes and waterfalls. Witness the ancient monkey puzzle trees and end with a dip in the hot springs!

Day 5: Drive over the Andes to Argentina

Set out on a memorable drive over the mountains to San Martin de los Andes in Argentina. The scenery is spectacular with the Lanin volcano a constant presence. Arrive to your hotel in Argentina late afternoon.

Day 6: Drive the Seven Lakes Road

Today you will drive one of the most scenic roads in the region. The route from San Martin de los Andes to Villa la Angostura is known as the Seven Lakes Road for the seven lakes you pass along the way. Overnight in Villa la Angostura.

Day 7: Villa la Angostura to Puyehue

This morning you will leave Argentina and drive back into Chile via the Cardenal Antonio Samoré pass through the mountains.Tonight you stay in a scenic location close to Puyehue lake with views of the volcanoes.

Day 8: Puyehue National Park & Surroundings

Your accommodation is perfectly place to explore the national park and surrounding area. Hike through evergreen forests to hidden waterfalls, natural thermal springs and volcanoes. Kayaking on the lake is also possible.

Day 9: A scenic drive to Puerto Varas

Drive inland past Rupanco lake and then onto the border of Llanquihue lake. Visit the pretty towns of Puerto Octay and Frutillar, historic sites of German settlement, before arriving to Puerto Varas.

Day 10: Return flight to Santiago

Drop your car at Puerto Montt airport in time for your short flight back to Santiago. Final night here, or why not extend your trip! Perhaps you can add on the north of Chile, or a relaxing stay at a vineyard.

Day 11: End your trip, or extend!
