“John was extremely accommodating to our requests, changing aspects of the itinerary until we had a perfectly tailored experience planned for us… The lodges John had booked for us did not disappoint and the rooms chosen were all fantastic and unique with amazing views… I would highly recommend using the Latin American Travel Company to plan an experience of a lifetime.”

After a leisurely breakfast you are taken to the airport for your short, 30 minute flight to Tortuguero. These small planes fly low allowing for a spectacular view! On arrival you are met and taken by boat to the lodge. After lunch your guide will take you on a tour of the small nearby village and turtle centre.
Today you have a full day exploring the network of jungle canals in a small open top boat accompanied by a professional guide. After breakfast your private Eco-concierge will meet you at your room and take you on a guided hike of the El Silencio reserve. They will lead you to three spectacular waterfalls whilst pointing out the different flora and fauna that can be found in the reserve. Afternoon at leisure, why not visit the hummingbird garden, or take a trip to the spa!
