Villa La Angostura Travel Guide

Nicknamed the garden of Patagonia, Villa la Angostura and the surrounding area   is known to be one of the most beautiful parts of the the Lake District. Situated on the northwestern shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi north of Bariloche, Villa la Angostura has a small collection of fantastic hotels and an enviable location. Popular in the winter months for the nearby skiing the area comes alive in summer where it is a favourite destination for hikes in the Los Arrayenes forest and other outdoor activities. There are also some golf courses close by.

A pretty and secluded village on the northwestern shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Villa La Angostura is a quieter and more upmarket alternative to Bariloche.
