Terrantai Lodge started life as a 100 year old Andean house before it was reimagined as a small boutique hotel by contemporary Chilean architect Matias Klotz. Located in the centre of San Pedro by the old church and handicrafts market, the adobe structure has been tastefully adapted using only local materials and constructed in the traditional way. Stone passageways, shaded terraces and quiet patios create an interesting and organic space.
An authentic little hotel with an ideal location in San Pedro. We love the homemade breakfast!
Rooms are cosy and comfortable and decorated in earthy desert tones with exposed stonework and wood floors. A central heating system provides warmth and thick wool blankets an extra layer of comfort. There is a small plunge pool, sun loungers, a large outdoor patio, a reading room, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is made every day using local produce such as homemade quinoa biscuits and fresh juices. End the day by enjoying a cocktail by the fire.
