Capitan Suizo was built by a Swiss couple and was one of the first hotels to open in Tamarindo back in 1995. Although the town has changed a lot since then the hotel remains one of the best options in the area. It is situated a short walk from the town centre at the end of the bay in a quiet spot with direct access to the beach where it is safe to swim. The spacious rooms and bungalows are spread out among the beautifully kept gardens with some offering ocean views.
