Located on a tiny island just off the coast of the mainland in the Gulf of Nicoya, Isla Chiquita is a small boutique resort made up of 15 luxury glamping tents spread out around the small island. Each of the spacious and charming tents are raised up from the ground on wooden platforms and come with private bathrooms, showers, ceiling fans, double sinks, a king size bed, an extra day bed and a private deck with a table and chairs facing the ocean.

There is a small beach which is perfect for swimming and the guests can use the kayaks and stand up paddle boards for free. The Donde Tia Nora’s restaurant focusses on an ocean-to-table philosophy serving catch of the day and other local dishes in a relaxed and authentic environment. Dishes include ceviche, oysters from the Gulf, snapper and other classic Costa Rican fare. Guests can spend their days exploring the hiking trails, kayaking, swimming, taking boat trips, or just relaxing in this untouched natural setting.
