The Latin America Travel Company Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
La Selva was one of the first Amazon lodges in this area and continues to be one of the most luxurious options available in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Getting here involves a short flight to the city of Coca and a 2.5 hour boat trip down the Napo River. Constructed using bamboo from sustainable plantations, the lodge also produces its own electricity using solar power that is available 24 hours a day.
