Cachalote is one of the only motorised sailors currently cruising in the Galapagos. Perfect for those who enjoy sailing and don’t mind slightly compact cabins, this small and traditional yacht offers an intimate and authentic experience of the Galapagos archipelago. There are 8 cabins in total, 7 of which have two single bunk beds with one cabin offering a double bed. Each cabin has its own porthole window, private bathroom with hot water and the boat is air conditioned throughout.

A small and simple motorised sailboat, Cachalote is a great value option with lots of character

The simple but comfortable interiors are decorated in a classic nautical style with teak wood paneling. On the main deck there is a salon bar and dining area with a few tables where informal meals are served. There are three different wooden decks made comfortable by seats and cushions where guests can relax, read a book or sunbathe whilst cruising between islands. Excursions are conducted by the on board professional naturalist guide and a crew of 8 provide excellent service.
