Galapagos Safari Camp
The Latin America Travel Company Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Galapagos Safari Camp is the passion project of couple Michael and Stephanie Mesdag who fell in love with the Galapagos and decided to set up the camp in the remote highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Located on a 55 hectare farm and bordering the national park, Galapagos Safari Camp consists of an impressive main lodge, nine luxury safari tents and a three bedroom family suite. Spread out around the property, the tents are built on raised wooden platforms and all come with custom made furniture, private balconies, en suite bathrooms and writing desks.
With an elegant and stylish yet familial atmosphere, Galapagos Safari Camp is an imaginative and unique concept
There are no TV’s or wifi in the tents as the emphasis is on contact with nature. The main lodge features an open plan lounge, a cosy fireplace and a wrap around deck with incredible views where cocktails are served at sunset. Other facilities include a library, infinity pool and plenty of spaces to relax in. The focus here is on personal service in a homely and relaxed atmosphere with fully customised daily activities.
