Hotel B

The Latin America Travel Company Rating:  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Hotel Overview

Hotel B was originally designed in 1914 by French architect Claude Sahut as the summer residence of the Garcia Bedoya family. It also served as a seaside retreat for the former Peruvian president Augusto Leguia in the 1920’s before it was recently renovated and re-opened as Lima’s most sophisticated boutique hotel. Located in the bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco, Hotel B is within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants, art galleries and museums.

A lovingly restored Belle Époque mansion in the heart of Barranco, Lima’s most fashionable district

The hotel houses its own private collection of original art that is tastefully displayed throughout the property alongside pieces of vintage and designer furniture. There are several public areas including a library that is modeled on a classic explorers club showcasing a collection of old Peruvian maps, books, prints and art. The elegant and refined suites come with every luxury amenity and are designed to provide a pampering experience. Complimentary afternoon tea is offered daily and the restaurant serves a fusion of Peruvian and Mediterranean cuisine by renown local chef Oscar Velarde. Hotel B is the only property in Lima to be included in the prestigious Relais & Chateaux collection.
