Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo
The Latin America Travel Company Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Situated within it’s own 12 acre private cloud forest reserve along the banks of the Vilcanota river, just a 5 minute walk from the train station at the foot of Machu Picchu mountain is the enchanting retreat of Machu Picchu Pueblo. The several kilometres of private nature trails lead through wild forest to rushing streams and secluded orchid gardens. Several species of hummingbird share the gardens with multicoloured butterflies and other myriad bird life. Rooms are found in individually designed white washed cottages built using stone, adobe and eucalyptus beams.
