The Libertador Trujillo occupies a prime spot in the city overlooking the main square and cathedral in the centre town. The imposing, colonial style building is an old restored mansion featuring 79 guest rooms. The interior of the hotel is decorated to reflect its colonial heritage with peaceful courtyards and cosy places to sit. Rooms are a little bare but come well equipped with a number of modern amenities such as an iPod dock, cable TV, a safe, minibar, high speed internet and high thread count cotton bed linen.
