PERU: MANCORA

Still unspoiled, with a great climate, wild, empty beaches, a handful of charming boutique hotels and excellent fresh seafood, it is a wonder why more people don’t visit this relaxed corner of Peru.

Máncora is a small town on the northern pacific coast of Peru with miles of empty and deserted sandy beaches. With year round sunshine, excellent fresh seafood and a handful of chic and stylish boutique hotels, Máncora is a great place to put your feet up at the end of your trip. The town itself has a low key surfer shack atmosphere but the best hotels are located just outside on nearby pocitas beach. Activities include surfing, horse riding, deep sea fishing, sampling some of the freshest seafood in the country and simply relaxing!

Best Time To Visit Mancora

Mancora has a relatively dry climate year round except for a slightly rainier season from January to April. It can also get very busy due to local holidays in December and July when hotel rooms book up long in advance.
