Casa Gardenia is just a short stroll from Plaza Grande and all of the major sites in Quito’s perfectly preserved and UNESCO protected historical centre. The building is a traditional colonial house that has been transformed inside into a modern boutique hotel whilst retaining many of the original features. There is an open air courtyard filled with plants and huge glass windows with excellent views of the city.

Rooms come with all the modern amenities and mix chic and contemporary decor with original features such as exposed brick walls and wooden floors. All rooms have private bathrooms and some come with their own private balcony overlooking the street. The hotel is run by a small and friendly team who provide consistently attentive service. There are many public areas for the guests to relax in but the highlight is the rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the old town. Breakfast of fresh juice, croissants and eggs is particularly well received!
