Casa Luna is a small and friendly hotel in Arenal that provides a nice alternative to the larger resorts in the area. It is conveniently located near to the small town of La Fortuna and with great views of Arenal Volcano and the national park. The rooms tend to be a bit bland but perfectly comfortable with air conditioning, private bathrooms, all the modern amenities and volcano or garden views. We recommend taking the superior room.

Casa Luna is set amongst beautifully kept tropical gardens where hummingbirds, toucans and many other species of birds can often be seen. The charming restaurant serves local dishes and international favourites in an informal environment and the freshly made buffet breakfast has lots of choice. Along with a good sized swimming pool there are four secluded hot tubs heated to different temperatures and a popular full service spa. La Fortuna waterfall is nearby and La Fortuna town will take about 5 – 10 minutes by taxi.
