Finca Rosa Blanca was one of the first hotels to receive the coveted 5 leaf award for sustainability. The affable owner was personally involved in the creation of the 5 leaf certification system which is now used all over Costa Rica. The hotel started life as a family home, built by the owners, and slowly grew into a hotel. Hidden amongst the trees with striking views over the Central Valley, the white stucco, Gaudi-esque buildings blend seamlessly into their natural surroundings.

Each of the quirky but luxurious rooms are adorned with murals by local artisans and individually designed. All offer private terraces with spectacular views of the Central Valley. Adjacent to the property the hotel has its own organic coffee plantation where guests can enjoy an exclusive tour. The swimming pool, complete with a waterfall, is set amongst the wonderfully kept gardens and private nature trails. End the day with a spa treatment and a meal in the El Tigre Vestido restaurant serving inventive dishes using fresh produce grown on site.
