Hilton Colon Quito is a huge high rise hotel located in the Mariscal Sucre neighbourhood of the city, just outside of the old town. It is situated on the edge of El Ejido park and is within easy walking distance of Plaza Foch where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is what you would expect from this well known international chain. The interiors are rather business like and a bit bland, but nonetheless provide all the facilities and amenities you require for a comfortable stay.

The rooms are all generous in size and the ones on the higher floors along with the executive lounge on the 17th floor have great views. There is a heated outdoor pool and sun deck with a calming bonsai garden. There are a couple of restaurants plus a deli and a convenience shop. There are extensive facilities for meetings and events including a grand ballroom and a 28,000 square foot event space. A spa, cocktail bar and salon are among the other facilities.
