La Hosteria is a small guesthouse located in the heart of the historic centre of Arequipa. It is just opposite the Santa Catalina Monastery and only a couple of minutes walk from the main square. One of the best features of this hotel is the beautiful roman bath with exposed brick walls and a vaulted ceiling. The hotel is a renovated colonial house and retains its traditional architecture and charm.

Another great feature is the colourful open air courtyard and there are also several terraces where guests can relax. From one of the terraces there is a good view of the El Misti volcano. Some of the rooms can be quite small, so we always recommend the superior category. They come well equipped with private ensuite bathrooms, a hairdryer, minibar, safe and cable TV. Some of the rooms have small balconies too. Other facilities include a coffee shop and a bar. A fantastic hotel for the price!
