Dating from 1892, Patios de Cafayate started life as an affluent private country mansion before it was carefully restored and re-born as a country house hotel. It is located just on the edge of town amongst the vineyards of the El Esteco winery with the breathtaking scenery of the Calchaquí Valleys as a dramatic backdrop. Decorated in a classic colonial style, the grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained with peaceful patios, fountains and water features.

Rooms are a generous size and decorated in a classic style but with all the modern features you would expect. Head chef Martin Garramón designs seasonal menus using fresh ingredients home grown in the hotel’s own vegetable garden for a gourmet farm to table experience. The El Esteco winery is also located on site and the wine is served in the hotel. Other facilities include a large outdoor pool, a full service spa, a games room and a reading room.
