Sumaq is a family run hotel located just below Machu Picchu in the small town of Aguas Calientes. The hotel is situated just outside of the main town in a tranquil position along the banks of the Vilcanota river. The hotel was fully renovated in 2016 and is decorated in a modern style with luxurious interiors painted in deep reds and gold. Rooms are well appointed featuring 100% goose feature duvets, cotton sheets, plush bathrobes, rain showers and bath tubs. The Aqlla spa offers a variety of treatments and the Suquy café bar features a panoramic balcony with excellent views.
