IGUAZU FALLS | ARGENTINA

The Iguazu waterfalls are one of the largest and most magnificent in the world. The word Iguazu comes from the native Guarani language which means “great water.” Located on the Iguazu river at the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, the majority of the falls are located on the Argentine side and the rest in Brazil. There are two airports in Iguazu, one in Argentina and one in Brazil. There are a total of several hundred individual falls along a 2 mile stretch of cliff and the thunderous roar can be heard from miles away. A real spectacle!

Iguazu Falls can be visited year round but it is hottest, most humid and wettest between December and February, however, these months are considered the high season as the falls are at their most impressive. March, April, September and October are good months to go for less crowds and slightly cooler weather. May until August the falls are at their lowest level, but skies are usually blue.
