Why Visit Pacuare in Costa Rica?

"Rafting on the Pacuare River is an exhilarating experience that everyone should try! There is no previous experience required, only a moderate level of fitness and a taste for adventure!"

The Pacuare River flows for almost 70 miles from the Central Valley eastwards to the Caribbean coast. Being one of the best Costa Rica adventure tour destinaions, Pacuare has long been known as one of the best and most scenic rivers for white water rafting in all of Latin America. The area is scattered with coffee and sugar plantations and offers a wide variety of activities such as horse riding, canyoneering, birdwatching and visits to the Guayabo National Monument, an interesting pre-Columbian archeological site.
